How many of you remember celebrating with ice cream? Was it Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry? Perhaps it was multi colored sherbet? Did you make your own, turning the crank on a hot summer day?
What tools do you have in your tool box? How do you rebuild your inner house? What are your tools for change?
Truth be told, I had not planned on writing about creativity. Actually, I shuddered at the thought. Write? Me? I could not imagine that my ramblings would be of interest to others.
There is gold at the rainbow’s end. Leprechauns and children know it! Pure color. Pure delight. Heartfelt play and laughter. THAT is true worth. I must go undercover for this writing. My art professors will hunt me down and revoke my “credentials” for my blasphemous views. So, today I am Kathleen O’Hughes. Remember, shhh….you don’t know me.
When you are a nurse, you are everybody’s nurse—you’re the “block” nurse, the “church” nurse, and the “distant relative” nurse.
April is National Humor Month.
One of the first things I remember drawing was a tree. You know, the wonderful lollipop trees with the huge green circle for the leaves and branches, and a thick brown stick for the trunk.
I just got back from a 10-day tour of Ireland. A new respect for “sense” of humor was gained as I traveled with 11 of our own family (2 whom are British), and 4 newly made Australian and Germans friends.
November is filled with national “food” days. There is Candy Day, Deviled Egg Day, and Cashew Day (which goes with the fact that it is National Peanut Butter Lover‘s Month).
