The Active Seniors Newspaper

Welcome to the Active Seniors Newspaper for 50 Plus Lifestyles. The newspaper is distributed at the beginning of each month free of charge throughout Central Illinois.

Because people often have questions about privacy and information-sharing related to health care, I’m sharing a Long View from 2008. Although the regulations can be confusing, we at Health Alliance Medicare are always willing to help guide folks to the right resource.
In 1969, the United States Congress created a new type of trust vehicle which helped charities and not-for-profit organizations generate more revenue for their causes while allowing taxpayers to reduce estate taxes, eliminate capital gains, claim an immediate income tax deduction, and, ultimately, benefit a charity or charities of their choice instead of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
